Samuel
Santos
Born in 1991 in Santa Maria da Feira, Aveiro, Samuel Santos has spent his life exploring both the inner self and the outer world in a constant search for meaning. From an early age, he felt a strong will to ask deep questions about human complexity, solitude, and isolation — a theme that has frequently shaped his artistic and creative journey.
He began his career with an exhibition at the Portuguese Gallery Art Center Caravel, and since then, Samuel’s style has evolved significantly. With a remarkable capacity for experimentation, the artist has moved from abstraction to symbolism, touching on surrealism, realism, and impressionism — each project unfolding in a completely unique direction and offering a deeply immersive exploration.
Now based in Madeira, Samuel continues to expand his artistic practice through numerous exhibitions and public art projects. His work often delves into the subconscious, dreams, and patterns of social behavior, inviting viewers into a rich and thought-provoking experience.
